DescriptionDescription Tigar Cargo Speed Winter
Tigar Cargo Speed Winter is a studded winter tire for light trucks and vans from a well-known company that is part of the Michelin group. The Tigar company specializes in the development of tires for urban roads and has achieved significant successes in this direction. This tire model is a winter version of the Tigar Cargo Speed tire.
The tread pattern design of this tire, which consists of powerful blocks in both the central and shoulder zones, has a directional character and provides excellent traction on snowy roads, ensuring safe driving. It has been significantly modified to improve handling characteristics.
Thus, the central rib, consisting of two rows of powerful blocks, facilitates movement on unpacked snow and wet asphalt. They also provide high directional stability when driving on slippery roads. The 2D-lamella system improves traction when driving on ice, allowing the tire to literally grip the smallest road irregularities. This makes it possible to achieve excellent acceleration and braking characteristics.
The powerful shoulder lugs in the shoulder zone give the tire good manageability, allowing easy movement on snow and providing maneuverability.
Another feature of the tire is its high resistance to aquaplaning, which is achieved through three deep ring-shaped channels of different profiles that effectively remove moisture, dirt, and wet snow from the contact patch with the road.
In addition, the Tigar Cargo Speed Winter has high wear resistance. It is provided by the multi-radius shape of the tread profile. As a result, the pressure is evenly distributed over the entire contact area with the road, which leads to less wear on the tire. The unique composition of the rubber mixture based on silicic acid also contributes to this, thanks to which the tire, firstly, withstands temperature fluctuations, and secondly, better holds the road. Finally, the double steel cord prevents excessive deformation of the tire and allows it to withstand various mechanical damages.
In summary, it's worth saying that this model is perfect for calm urban driving. The unique design contributes to low noise generation throughout the entire lifespan of the tire, and it will give its owner a high level of comfort and safety on winter roads.
Distinctive features of Tigar Cargo Speed Winter
- Tigar Cargo Speed Winter is a studded winter tire for light trucks and vans.
- The tread pattern design is directional, providing maximum traction with the road surface.
- The central rib, consisting of two rows of powerful lugs, provides high directional stability during straight-line movement, as well as confident driving on unpacked snow and wet asphalt.
- The 2D-lamella system improves traction when driving on ice.
- The powerful shoulder lugs in the shoulder zone of the tread allow for easy movement on snow and provide maneuverability to the vehicle.
- Three deep ring-shaped channels of different profiles effectively remove moisture, dirt, and wet snow from the contact patch with the road, minimizing the risk of aquaplaning.
- Small grooves dissipate heat.
- Due to the multi-radius shape of the tread profile, the pressure inside it is evenly distributed, which leads to even wear of the tire. As a result, its service life is increased.
- The rubber mixture composition includes silicic acid, which prevents the tire from freezing at low temperatures and increases its traction properties.

I like it. Before I took a spare tire for the old transit. Drove for three years without changing it. Now I bought a winter tire with studs for the transit tour 2011. Driving is just super, like a train on rails! Although ABS and ESP are also helping.

A great tire for a van. Good traction on shallow snow. Holds the road well. On ice, as any studded tire, requires caution. The tread is fairly deep, allowing for stability in any winter weather.
