Tyres Tegrys

The Tegrys brand belongs to the Chinese company Prometeon group, which is currently one of the structures of Aeolus Tyres, one of the 20 largest automotive tire manufacturers in the world. The company was founded in 1965 and today produces almost an unlimited range of tire products, from passenger tires to products for quarries and mines. In 2002, the company gained access to the European market, offering extremely successful tires for commercial and agricultural vehicles. Later, passenger car tires were added to them. The Tegrys brand is used in the production of tires for trucks and buses of large capacity.

Currently, the brand offers truck tires in the following categories:

- for paved roads;
- for mixed conditions - asphalt/dirt.

The line for paved roads is a comprehensive solution. These are three models designed for installation on steering, driving, and trailer axles. Externally, they differ in the design of the tread pattern, adapted based on operating conditions. All tires feature a full-metal carcass with increased carrying capacity, as well as a rubber compound resistant to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears. Other notable features include an optimized tread profile that expands the tire's contact patch with the road surface.

A similar approach to forming the model range is demonstrated in the brand's line of tires for mixed operating conditions. It consists of tires designed for steering and driving axles and implies their joint use. The tread patterns, although different, are perfectly adapted for operation on both paved roads and dirt roads. All models feature stone ejectors located in the grooves, and the placement of tread elements is optimized to minimize noise and vibration. Another feature is the use of a reinforced carcass, which uses a steel cord of increased cross-section, and sidewalls that are significantly thicker than those of tires for paved roads. All this provides the tires with reliability and a long service life in the most difficult conditions.
