Starmaxx Prowin ST960

The Starmaxx Prowin ST960 winter tire is installed on commercial vehicles of small and especially small capacity. For its category, it has excellent applicability, being available in more than 20 standard sizes with a diameter from 12 to 16 inches. It differs from most analogs of other brands with high load capacity and excellent performance on any winter surface.

The model is offered with two tread patterns. The tire with a tread width of more than 285 mm has an increased number of small-sized blocks. In both cases, a classic design for winter tires is used with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. The formed transverse edges, having a greater length, reduce the risk of slipping during longitudinal accelerations, primarily on roads not cleared of snow. On ice, these properties are preserved through the use of lamellas with a self-locking mechanism. When in contact with the road surface, it not only fixes the slits in the open position but also limits any block mobility, thereby giving the tire high stability in such conditions.
