The Semperit Master Grip winter passenger tire was specifically designed for small-class passenger vehicles. It is characterized by an increased content of grip edges, which provides confident behavior on winter surfaces, while the rubber compound remains elastic even at very low temperatures.
Original V-shaped tread pattern
One of the main features of the Semperit Master Grip model is the symmetrical directional tread pattern. Its V-shaped design is formed by diagonal drainage grooves that converge in the central part of the tread. In addition, they form a multitude of longitudinal blocks, which form two very wide ribs. This design, on the one hand, provides the tread center with a sufficient number of grip edges, and on the other hand, allows reducing rolling resistance, as well as improving directional stability and handling.
Massive shoulder zone blocks
A large part of the tread is occupied not by two central ribs, but by numerous rectangular blocks located in its shoulder zones. They are characterized by massive sizes and a transverse arrangement relative to the direction of movement. Due to this construction of the shoulder zones, this model is characterized by increased stability when cornering and a short braking distance, especially on slippery roads.
Multiple lamellas
Another characteristic feature of this tire is the increased content of grip edges. Moreover, most of them are formed not by tread blocks, but by lamellas, which are also arranged in different directions. During movement, they open up, allowing the tire to grip the road surface with their edges, even the smallest irregularities.
