Sava Effecta

The Sava Effecta summer tire is produced by a well-known Slovenian manufacturer, which is currently under the full control of one of the leaders of the global tire industry, Goodyear. This model was created using many technologies borrowed from the North American company, which ensured the high technical characteristics of this tire at a relatively low cost. This tire is produced in more than 20 of the most popular sizes with a rim diameter from 13 to 15 inches, which allows us to talk about the applicability of this model to the majority of small-class cars.

The tread of this tire is equipped with a symmetrical non-directional pattern, featuring an original S-shaped design. Like a modern progressive tire, its tread consists of five longitudinally arranged ribs, including two shoulder zones. In the center of the tread, the Slovenian tire makers placed a longitudinal rib with a solid and very rigid structure. Thanks to this technical solution, it was possible to solve several important problems at once. In particular, the high rigidity of this tread element made it possible to provide excellent directional stability and braking efficiency.

The Sava Effecta tire owes its excellent resistance to aquaplaning to the high efficiency of the drainage system, which consists of four longitudinal and a system of transverse grooves. At the same time, the longitudinal grooves located in the central part of the tread are distinguished by increased sizes, which is due to their purpose of collecting the main part of moisture and directing it outward through the system of transverse channels. Additionally, the transverse channels have a curved shape, which contributes to an increase in the speed of water circulation.
