Description Росава Бц-2
Its existence in the production program of a well-known Ukrainian company for several decades is due to the Soviet Union and the wide range of applications. The fact is that in Soviet times, it was not customary to divide tires by seasonal characteristics. I.e. car owners in the USSR used the same set of wheels throughout the year, which is hard to imagine today. This model is one of those tires that was created taking into account such specific operating conditions.
Open design of the tread pattern
Since the Rosava BT-2 model was initially developed with consideration of the specific conditions of year-round operation, it was equipped with a symmetrical non-directional pattern with an open design. It consists of many massive blocks, from which five longitudinal ribs are formed. Due to such a location of individual tread elements, the tire demonstrates good directional stability with excellent traction and coupling properties.
Increased number of coupling edges
As mentioned earlier, the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern contains many individual blocks. Their distinctive feature is not only the arrangement scheme but also the complex hexagonal shape. Due to this, each block during movement forms a large number of differently directed coupling edges. Additional edges are also formed due to the many straight and wavy lamellas that are located on the tread elements in the central part. This design feature, in combination with a sufficiently large distance between the blocks, provides the tire with decent cross-country ability on slippery unstable types of coverage, from sand to snow.
Main features of the Rosava BT-2 tire
- a wide range of applications due to the universal symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which has excellent performance on various types of coverage;
- an increased number of coupling edges formed by numerous polygonal blocks and lamellas on their surface;
- five longitudinal ribs significantly improve directional stability, while maintaining fuel economy at an acceptable level.
