Commercial tire Rockblade ROCK 989S of the new generation, which can be installed on minivans and light trucks. It is designed for winter operation, demonstrating confident passage of snowy and icy sections while maintaining handling sensitivity.
The tread pattern features an asymmetric design, the basis of which is blocks of irregular shape. Abundantly covered with three-dimensional lamellae, they form a multitude of sharp hooks. Through the latter, traction and braking performance on slippery pavement have been significantly improved. It is worth adding a variable pitch arrangement of elements. Due to such an arrangement, noise effects are substantially reduced and ride comfort is improved. The wide shoulder area, where high blocks are located, allows for confident cornering, maintaining handling at the same level.
A special compound based on silica was used as the compound. Thanks to it, the tread always remains elastic.
