The RoadX Frost WH12 winter tire for passenger cars is designed for use in the most challenging conditions. On any slippery road, it is characterized by reliable traction properties and stable handling, with reduced rolling resistance and an extended service life.
The directional tread pattern is designed in a "classic" style with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. The large width of these elements and their direction against the direction of movement allows for the extremely effective removal of not only water but also its heavy mixture with snow from under the contact patch. The extended high walls of the grooves ensure reliable traction on snow. The handling on ice is maintained at a high level due to the numerous and multidirectional wavy lamellas cut into all blocks. Additional traction in such conditions can be provided by installing spikes, for which special mounting holes are provided in the tread.
