The non-studded version of the Roadstone Winguard Spike winter tire is an excellent option for rural roads, where the road surface is often compacted snow. In such conditions, this model demonstrates ease of handling with precise and at the same time soft reactions to the driver's actions, reliable traction properties, especially during longitudinal accelerations.
The tread pattern features a V-shaped arrangement of elements with a large number of elongated edges, inclined at an aggressive angle. This increases directional stability, reduces rolling resistance and noise. In turn, the massive blocks on the edges of the tread provide high traction on snow, increase stability during maneuvering, and reduce the level of abrasive impact on the tire.
Key Features of Roadstone Winguard Spike (Non-Studded)
- arrow-shaped blocks in the center of the tread increase directional stability and handling precision;
- open design of the shoulder area allows for precise control of traction and braking force on snow;
- transverse arrangement and numerousness of lamellas increase longitudinal grip on icy surfaces.
