The summer tire Roadstone N'Fera AU5 was developed by specialists of the South Korean company Nexen, which also offers this model under its own brand. It is designed for passenger cars and belongs to the UHP category, which allows it to be used on the most powerful and dynamic versions of cars.
Stability at any speed
To a large extent, the possibility of using the tire on sports versions of passenger cars is provided due to the design of the central part of the tread. Two of the three longitudinal ribs located here have a composite structure containing many blocks. Their mobility is limited by special bridges and a minimum distance from each other. This design increases the directional stability at high speeds, as well as provides a more accurate and faster transmission of lateral accelerations to the steering column. As a result, the driver gets a feeling of ease of handling and, as a consequence, full control over the car.
Durability
The tire tread contains a large number of droplet-shaped grooves. These elements provide a more even distribution of heat, which reduces the thermal impact on the tread material. As a result, its resistance to wear is increased, thereby increasing its service life.
Optimized grooves in the shoulder areas
The shoulder areas of the tread contain many transverse grooves. Their size and shape are selected in such a way that the load is distributed more evenly to the blocks located here, without compromising their rigidity. This significantly reduces the noise level, improving traction and handling.
