Dynamic Snow Cutting
The tread is designed according to the principle of a directed V-shaped pattern, but with a critically important difference: the edges of its blocks do not just converge, they work like sequential blades of a milling machine. When the wheel rotates, the sharp edges aggressively cut into the snow mass, not compacting, but cutting and removing it from the contact zone through wide diagonal channels. This creates the basis for traction on deep and loose snow. Such a design, unlike a chaotic off-road pattern, provides high directional stability and, due to structural rigidity, reduces rolling resistance, which has a positive effect on fuel consumption.
Lamellas and Studs
To combat bare ice and ice crust, a comprehensive approach is used. Multiple lamellas throughout the tread area provide not just friction, but mechanical engagement with the smallest irregularities of the ice. When moving, they vibrate, destroying the residual water layer and providing "dry" contact. In addition to them, there is a system of studs that can hold the contact patch even in conditions of complete ice, increasing the overall level of safety.
