The Radar RPX800 summer tire is designed for compact and light vehicles with enhanced dynamic characteristics. It is intended for operation with long trips over long distances, while featuring sporty handling, reliable traction on dry and wet surfaces.
The optimized tread profile expands the contact patch. In combination with the pattern design, this improves handling and slows down tire wear. The shoulder areas of the asymmetric tread significantly enhance these properties, as well as the accuracy of control due to the high stability of the blocks contained therein to deformation. The tread elements are arranged with a variable pitch. This practically completely eliminates the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations, which has a positive effect on the acoustic comfort inside the vehicle.
