The Powertrac Snowmarch winter tire is designed for compact and medium-sized passenger cars. The model is offered in several dozen sizes with diameters ranging from 13 to 17 inches. The operational properties are selected to provide, in addition to safety on winter roads, the maximum level of driving and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is characterized by large sizes of elements and their symmetrical directional arrangement. The edges formed in this way are mostly highly inclined. As a result, high efficiency of traction force realization and directional stability on slippery surfaces are achieved. On dry asphalt, excellent performance is achieved due to the increased size of blocks and optimized profile shape of the tread, making the contact area larger. The pattern also contains many sinusoidal lamellas. In the central part, they are located at a right angle, and in the shoulder zones - at an angle. This solution allows improving longitudinal traction and directional stability on icy surfaces. Here, it is also worth noting the arrangement of studs. During movement, it allows forming 6 longitudinal rows.
