The Powertrac PowerLander A/T summer tire is designed for pickups and SUVs. It is versatile in application due to its efficiency on both asphalt roads and various types of unpaved surfaces.
The tread pattern features a symmetrical non-directional design with a large number of blocks. All elements have a complex shape, thanks to which the contact area with the road surface constantly has numerous and multi-directional edges. This provides reliability of grip regardless of the road surface characteristics. In the center, the blocks form a longitudinal rib, which reduces rolling resistance and improves directional stability.
The shoulder areas have an open design. This solution significantly reduces the risk of aquaplaning on the highway, and off-road provides high traction. Directly under the tread is a breaker with a "hybrid" construction. In addition to steel, a synthetic cord made of nylon fibers is used here. They are arranged very tightly due to a spiral seamless winding. As a result, resistance to punctures and cuts is increased, and the intensity of wear is reduced.
