Description Platin RP420
The Platin RP420 summer tire, thanks to its extensive size range, is suitable for use in both passenger cars and SUVs/crossovers. It is characterized by improved traction properties on wet surfaces, low rolling resistance, wear resistance, and a quiet, smooth ride.
The tread pattern is distinguished by an increased volume of longitudinal grooves and an optimized "hydrodynamic" shape of transverse drainage elements. This practically completely eliminates the risk of aquaplaning at almost all speeds allowed by traffic rules. Another feature of the pattern is the large length and multitude of transverse edges of blocks and lamellas. This increases the high traction and braking properties on wet surfaces.
Main features of Platin RP420
- a rubber compound based on "silica" with special polymers in the composition provides the tire with increased coupling on a wet surface, along with reduced rolling resistance;
- excellent traction and braking properties on a wet surface due to the large number of transverse edges of blocks and lamellas;
- the "hydrodynamic" shape of the transverse grooves enhances resistance to aquaplaning.
