Pirelli Winter Ice Zero 2 245/50 R19 105H XL

The Pirelli Winter Ice Zero 2 winter tire is designed for a wide range of modern passenger cars. Compared to the previous model, it differs in increased stability in handling, traction and deceleration intensity on ice and compacted snow.

The tread pattern is made in a directional design with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. Their number and volume have been increased. In combination with their expanding shape as they approach the edges of the tread, this has significantly improved resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning. The blocks located in the shoulder areas have zigzag edges. They increase longitudinal traction on snow. The central part of the tread is a row of paired blocks. The polygonal shape of the elements provides multidirectionality of the edges formed by them, which improves directional stability. Efficiency on icy surfaces is provided by the updated stud design. Its hard alloy insert has a W-shaped form and is made of tungsten carbide, a material more resistant to wear. The reduced weight and size have made it possible to increase the number of studs in the tread and reduce the level of noise generated by them.
