The target audience of the Pirelli PZero GEN-2 Sports Car summer tire is the owners of the most dynamic versions of passenger cars. This model belongs to the Ultra High Performance category. The high characteristics of the tire are ensured not only by marketing, but also by the use of a number of technologies previously used in tires for road-ring racing. As a result, the tire is distinguished by its sporty handling and exceptional traction properties, especially when cornering.

One of the differences from the first-generation tire is the design of the shoulder zones, where the blocks are arranged with a larger step relative to each other. In combination with a compound with an increased content of "silica", this improves traction when maneuvering while reducing noise and vibrations. Additionally, the rubber mixture includes special polymers that increase its strength and heat conductivity, as well as resistance to rupture and stretching. As a result, the rolling resistance is reduced, the traction on wet surfaces is improved, and the tire's mileage before replacement is increased. In the outer part of the asymmetric tread, the blocks are arranged with a variable step relative to each other, and the design of the grooves is optimized to prevent the occurrence of resonant noises. This significantly increases the acoustic comfort in the car's cabin.
