The Pirelli P7000 tire has two types of grooves. The first type of grooves are located at a radial angle and provide excellent protection against aquaplaning when driving at low and medium speeds, even with a large layer of water on the road surface. The second type of grooves, peripheral "sabre cuts", together with two longitudinal central grooves, provide safety at high speeds. The central double groove has a drainage structure that expels water from the tread, ensuring excellent grip, quality braking, stability, and excellent handling on dry road surfaces.
Thanks to the directional tread pattern, water is expelled from under the tread, and the intensity is increased due to the presence of radial wide grooves. The use of "Pulse" technology in the tire sidewalls provides cross-stability of the car when cornering.
