The Pirelli P6 Four Season tire has exactly these characteristics.
Italian tire manufacturers preferred to use a very popular asymmetric directional tread pattern, which has a number of advantages in various road conditions. To ensure excellent directional stability, a very wide longitudinal rib was placed in the center of the tread, whose continuous structure without breaks is characterized by high structural rigidity.
The other two longitudinal ribs, located nearby, represent two rows of combined blocks, each consisting of several parts. This design is replete with many sharp edges and corners. As a result, the contact patch of the Pirelli P6 Four Season at any given time has a large number of differently directed edges of adhesion, which allows for more confident overcoming of road sections without solid pavement.
It is also impossible not to notice the reinforced design of the shoulder areas, which are also represented by two additional rows of separate blocks. Between them are special reinforcing elements that do not allow the blocks to close between themselves, thereby increasing the stiffness in this part of the tread. As a result, the cross-country ability indicators were significantly improved, as well as handling on solid pavement.
