The summer passenger tire Pirelli Pzero Corsa is offered in two versions - with a V-shaped and asymmetric tread. The first is designed for installation on the front axle, and the second - on the rear.
Tire with V-shaped tread
Being installed on the front axle of the car, the tire with a V-shaped tread provides directional stability, handling accuracy, and also - dries the rut for the asymmetric tire on the rear axle. These functions are performed due to the high rigidity of the double longitudinal rib in the central part and the large capacity of the drainage grooves. At the same time, those located at an angle, drain water from under the contact patch to the outside of the tread.
Tire with asymmetric tread
In turn, the version of this model with an asymmetric tread pattern is characterized by increased longitudinal traction properties. They are provided due to the numerous transverse traction edges cut into all tread ribs.
