The Pirelli Cinturato P1 Verde Eco tire is designed for use on small and compact vehicles. During the development of this tire, the company's specialists were able to incorporate four key characteristics: driving pleasure, safety, operational flexibility, and environmental awareness.
The development of the tire utilized modern advanced technologies and materials, resulting in a 15% reduction in weight and a 25% reduction in rolling resistance. Additionally, the tire features a 1.5 dB reduction in external noise and a 1 dB reduction in in-cabin noise, increasing the comfort of the ride. Due to its outstanding operational characteristics and environmental friendliness, the tire has received high praise from major automakers. It has been chosen as the original equipment for the BMW 1 series. Meanwhile, the majority of the tires will be sold on the secondary market.
The specially designed tread, featuring three wide longitudinal grooves, in conjunction with a specially selected lamella system, effectively removes water from the contact patch, preventing aquaplaning.
