The all-season Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF2 tire is suitable for most popular passenger cars. A versatile model, it is effective both in intense urban use and on high-speed highways for long distances. It is characterized by ease of handling and reliable traction on dry, wet, and snowy surfaces, as well as a comfortable, quiet, and soft ride, fuel efficiency, and a long service life.
Reliability of handling in difficult weather conditions
Unlike previous models, the tread pattern design for this tire was developed "from scratch". It is distinguished by a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves, the number of which has been significantly increased. This made it possible to substantially enhance the tread's ability to remove water and its heavy mixture with snow and road dirt from the contact patch using the rotation of the wheel. As a result, even in the most unfavorable weather conditions, handling reliability is ensured.
Excellent traction on slippery surfaces
The tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of a large number of small blocks and their distribution in groups. This solution allows the contact patch to be saturated with very long curved edges. They make it possible to very effectively realize the traction force on a snowy surface, providing high acceleration intensity in such complex conditions. The inclination of the block edges in the central part increases the directional stability, allowing for better control of the vehicle.
Increased mileage
The tire is distinguished by a very long service life. This is due to several features at once. First of all, it is the dense arrangement of tread pattern elements in the central part. Another factor is the optimized shape of the tire's tread profile. It increases the contact patch, allowing to reduce the pressure on the surface and, with it, the level of abrasive impact on the tread.
Key features of Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF2
- the increased number of drainage grooves and their V-shaped arrangement improve handling reliability in poor weather conditions;
- extended transverse edges of blocks and lamellas provide intense acceleration and braking on wet and snowy surfaces;
- wear-resistant rubber compound, optimized tread profile, and dense arrangement of its elements in the central part increase the tire's mileage before replacement.
