The winter studded tire Omsk O-144 is one of the novelties of the well-known Siberian enterprise, this time designed for compact small-class passenger cars. In addition to blocks and lamellas, a sufficient number of traction edges are formed due to the numerous steel studs located mainly in the shoulder areas of the tread. This was done not by chance, since it is this part of the tread that bears the greatest load when accelerating and braking, as well as when sharply changing direction. The multitude of steel studs in the shoulder areas ensures safe execution of all these maneuvers on a slippery winter road.
