Nortec Я-245 – a commercial tire specifically designed for equipping vehicles such as the UAZ-450. The model is characterized by versatility of application, which consists in the possibility of year-round operation on both asphalt and dirt roads. This was largely achieved through optimization of the tread pattern, the basis of which consists of three central ribs of zigzag shape. In addition, this design allowed for a larger contact area, which positively affected the distribution of load per unit area. Due to the "ribbing", precision handling was also achieved.
In the shoulder areas, there are individual mud catchers that increase the contact area and also contribute to the improvement of vehicle stability during maneuvering. Made from a special rubber compound, they effectively resist deformation that can occur under load. This achieves the preservation of working characteristics.
