The Nordman SUV winter studded tire, designed for passenger cars with increased off-road capability, is produced at the most modern plant of the company Nokian, which is one of the globally recognized leaders in the tire industry. This model is distinguished by a very attractive price-to-quality ratio. The tire is produced in 14 most popular sizes - from 215/70 R15 to 255/60 R18.

To reduce the cost of the final product, the V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern was borrowed from the popular Nokian Hakkapeliitta tires in our country and abroad. The key feature of the V-shaped tread pattern of this tire is the uniform distribution of the load over the entire contact area, where traction is provided due to the large number of sharp edges. Thanks to this technical solution, this model is distinguished by excellent traction on snowy and icy surfaces. Due to the use of special components and purified oils in the rubber compound, the tread of the tire has excellent elasticity at low temperatures, and the Nordman SUV tire itself has increased environmental safety during production. As in other winter tires of the company Nokian, this model uses the famous four-edged stud, which provides excellent traction on ice in all directions. At the same time, the stud is installed on a special shock-absorbing pad, which prevents deformation that occurs when the tire comes into contact with a hard surface. This solution made it possible to ensure the preservation of the studs throughout the entire service life.

In order to provide additional traction with a slippery surface, the entire surface of the tread is literally covered with a dense network of multidirectional S-shaped lamellas. Thanks to this solution, the tread of the tire has received a huge number of sharp edges, which effectively puncture the water film that occurs as a result of the friction from the contact of the tire with ice.
