The Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT tire is a winter model that combines exceptional durability and impeccable traction. Specifically designed for heavy use on four-wheel drive vehicles, it is reliable and safe on any road surface.

In addition to the excellent traction characteristic of Hakkapeliitta tires, this model is distinguished by its unique stability and durability. The robust carcass is specially optimized for the use of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT tire on SUVs, light trucks, pickup trucks, and vans, whose axles and wheels are constantly subjected to increased loads. A specially designed breaker package, reinforced in the shoulder areas, is also used for this purpose. This package features 60% more steel wire in the breaker than regular tires.

A specially developed rubber compound provides the highest strength due to increased resistance to cuts and tears. The reinforced shoulder area excellently protects the tire from lateral damage and increases stability when cornering.

The stability and driving characteristics of the tire on thawed road surfaces are improved by the long and massive tread lugs, which have a center-shoulder direction. The large number of sharp edges on the tread blocks increases traction when driving on snowy surfaces.

The safety and convenience of using the tires are also improved by the wear indicator (Driving Safety Indicator). It is located in the center of the tread and shows the depth of its main grooves as a percentage. The digital markings wear off as the tire wears out.
