All these properties are provided due to advanced technologies and experience gained over decades in the development of winter tires.
"Winter" V-shaped tread pattern
One of the areas where long-term experience has been applied is the tread pattern, the V-shaped design of which has been repeatedly tested on previously released Hakkapeliitta line tires. Its main feature is the presence of a large number of small blocks. In the center of the tread, they form a continuous longitudinal rib with the help of rigid bridges. This design gives the tire most of its numerous advantages. The main ones are stable and reliable traction properties, as well as excellent passability in deep snow.
Reinforced carcass structure
Since the development of this model was based on a passenger car tire, it is not surprising that its carcass has been significantly strengthened. This has given it increased carrying capacity. A significant "addition" to the carrying capacity is provided by a two-layer breaker made entirely of steel cord. In addition, the presence of a strong and rigid "base" directly under the tread has increased its resistance to uneven wear, and also had a positive effect on handling, making it even more reliable and predictable.
