The summer passenger tire Nokian Hakka C Cargo, as one might guess from the last word in the name, is designed for small-tonnage commercial transport. It is notable for the fact that its development used design solutions previously applied to both passenger and truck models.
The Finnish tire manufacturer has equipped the Nokian Hakka C Cargo tire with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. I.e., the operational characteristics remain at the same level, both when moving forward and backward. At the same time, the tread design is most reminiscent of truck tires. This is a huge plus, especially for domestic buyers, since the tire, due to its reinforced design, can easily withstand the significant load that the wheels of minibuses and light trucks are subjected to.
One of the most notable innovations was the triangular supports designed to increase the stiffness of the shoulder areas of the tread. This solution significantly increased the resistance of this part of the tread to deformations that inevitably occur when transporting heavy loads. As a result, the tire tread wears out much more slowly, while maintaining its original shape throughout its service life.
Since the tire is designed for operation on roads with a solid surface, where movement at high speeds is not excluded, the company's specialists took measures to reduce the heating of the tread, which has a destructive effect on it. To combat this phenomenon, the shoulder areas of the tread were equipped with special cavities designed for rapid heat removal. In addition, the shoulder areas of the tread are distinguished by massive sizes and a small radius, which improved the even distribution of the load over the contact patch, leading to increased traction.

- The original design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern distributes external pressure over the contact patch in the best possible way, allowing the tire to handle the weight of the transported cargo without any problems;
- Four wide longitudinal ribs provide excellent directional stability;
- An info section on the tire sidewall where recommended pressure values can be applied;
- Triangular supports increase the resistance of the shoulder areas of the tread to deformation under external load.
