The Nitto Dura Grappler passenger tire is primarily aimed at owners of pickups, crossovers, and SUVs that operate on paved roads. This is due to the fact that this model belongs to the H/T category, where only 20% of the mileage is off-road.
Reinforced sidewalls
The relatively large weight of this tire is due to the presence of an additional steel cord in the sidewalls. In combination with the use of a special rubber mixture resistant to mechanical stress for their manufacture, this provides a high level of reliability throughout the entire service life.
Additional steel cord in the breaker
The breaker located directly under the tread also has a reinforced design with an additional steel cord. In addition to increasing the load capacity and strength, this solution significantly improves the accuracy of steering at high speeds, and also reduces rolling resistance.
