Description Next Tread RHT
The tireless automotive tire of radial design Next Tread RHT is designed for operation during the frost-free period and is installed on the trailer axle of trucks. This is a new generation of Goodyear tires, which, despite the continuity of the developer's concept, differ in a number of innovative solutions. In the line of Next Tread models, a clear trend of optimizing price policy is evident in order to reduce vehicle maintenance costs. Such a compromise was achieved not at the expense of reducing the quality of the product, but thanks to the introduction of innovative technologies and original design solutions.
The qualitatively new composition of the rubber mixture Next Tread RHT (with a high percentage of silicon) gives the vulcanized rubber high adhesive properties and a characteristic microporous structure. This technology allows for maximum dense contact of the working surface with the road surface, and, in turn, ensures excellent speed and dynamic characteristics, regardless of weather conditions.
The specificity of the tread design makes it possible to significantly reduce rolling resistance, and at the same time, counteract lateral wheel displacement, which increases driving safety when passing turns in rainy weather.
The manufacturer guarantees a high degree of safety up to the maximum permissible speed limit. The RHT model range includes two sizes, for which the speed limit is set at 110 and 120 km/h, respectively. The maximum load for Next Tread RHT tires is over 4 tons.
The tire is distinguished by high resistance to wear, which has a positive effect on the duration of the product's service life. In addition, the resource is managed to be extended even more, since the structure of the rubber allows for partial restoration of the worn-out tread by welding. At the same time, the new layer is perfectly connected to the base, and the tire "works" almost like new.
Main features of the Next Tread RHT model
- Multilayer cord winding;
- Reliable grip with a solid surface, regardless of weather conditions;
- Excellent dynamics of movement and speed characteristics when operating on roads with a solid surface;
- Course stability, resistance to lateral displacement, stability of steering control;
- Resistance to tread wear;
- Possibility of secondary use (tread restoration by welding).
