The all-season tire Nexen SB602 is designed for installation on passenger cars. It has fuel efficiency, a low level of heat generation in the contact area, and uniform pressure distribution.
The center of the tread features a diagonal rib with diagonal notching. It provides quick transmission of steering wheel actions, which is reflected in the effectiveness of handling. On either side of the rib, there are block elements that increase traction due to the numerous edges, as well as minimize the risk of skidding. The sidewall area is represented by rigid elements that provide maneuverability and stability of the vehicle in turns.
To reduce the risk of aquaplaning and slaloming, ring and transverse channels are provided, forming a dense network. Through the latter, not only water but also snow and liquid mud are drained, allowing the contact area to be kept clean at all times.
The compound contains silicon-based additives that maintain elasticity at the same level under negative temperature conditions. This factor affects the effectiveness of the traction properties.
