Description Nexen N'Priz RH7
The summer tire Nexen N'Priz RH7 has a rather narrow range of applications. This model, first of all, is designed for crossovers and SUVs, and secondly, only those that are used exclusively on asphalt roads. It is in these specific conditions that this tire demonstrates all its strong points, of which there are many. First and foremost, this is a high resistance to aquaplaning, a low level of noise, excellent stability when maneuvering and passing, and stability of traction properties when moving at high speed.
Excellent efficiency on wet roads
A significant part of the efforts of the developers of this model was spent on ensuring maximum traction on wet roads. It is worth noting that their efforts were not in vain, since several technical solutions were used for this. First and foremost, these are the increased sizes of all four longitudinal drainage grooves. These tread elements, due to their large internal volume, easily cope with drying the contact patch even in heavy rain.
Another feature that determines the increased level of traction on wet roads, demonstrated by this tire, is the rubber compound. Its composition is more than three-quarters made up of silica. It is a complex of complex chemical compounds that allow the tread to closely adhere to the cold, wet road surface due to increased elasticity. At the same time, special polymers in the compound composition ensure the integrity of the tread, increasing the strength against rupture. I.e., the rubber compound used in its manufacture stretches beautifully, but does not break.
Low noise and vibration level
As you know, most types of suspension used in modern car manufacturing are not able to completely isolate the car body from noise and vibration transmitted from road surface irregularities through the Nexen N'Priz RH7 tires. In this model, the level of low-frequency noise and vibration is significantly lower than that of most competitors.
This is mainly due to the soft, yet wear-resistant compound. The design of the tread pattern plays no less important role in this matter. With the help of computer modeling technologies, such a combination of shapes, sizes, and arrangement of its individual elements was selected, each of which generates a minimum of noise and vibration, which improves the level of acoustic comfort.
Wide blocks in the shoulder areas
The South Korean manufacturer positions this model as an Ultra High Performance tire. Its belonging to this category is largely ensured by the closed design of the shoulder areas. Each of them contains a multitude of separate wide blocks connected to each other by a longitudinal uninterrupted rib located next to them. This solution has significantly improved the tire's stability when cornering, as well as traction when accelerating and braking, simultaneously increasing their stability.
Main features of the Nexen N'Priz RH7 tire
- the non-directional tread pattern is optimized for operation exclusively on highways;
- high performance on wet roads due to the increased content of silica and functional polymers in the compound composition, as well as four wide drainage grooves that simultaneously divert almost any amount of water from the contact patch;
- the uninterrupted longitudinal rib in the center and wide transverse blocks in the shoulder areas increase directional stability, give the tire quickness and accuracy in reactions to steering wheel turns, improve traction when accelerating and braking, making it more reliable and stable.
