New radial summer tires CP661 of the well-known South Korean manufacturer of automotive tires Nexen Tyres are designed for use on passenger cars of various classes. Nexen CP661 tires provide a soft and comfortable ride, a significant reduction in fuel consumption and excellent handling characteristics, both on dry and water-covered surfaces. The model range of the new Nexen CP661 tire includes 25 sizes for wheels with diameters from 13 to 17 inches. The production of this tire model is handled by Nexen's own factories, located in South Korea and China. The Nexen CP661 tire is equipped with the conveyor belts of the KIA automotive company, where the KIA Forte and KIA Soul compact cars are assembled.

The tire construction is designed using several innovative technologies. The Nexen CP661 tire tread is equipped with four longitudinal grooves, providing highly efficient water removal from the tire's contact patch and excellent braking properties on wet surfaces. Additionally, to improve water drainage from the contact patch, wavy lateral grooves are located along the edges of the tread, which significantly improves handling on wet and slippery surfaces. Furthermore, thanks to the presence of a double longitudinal rib, located in the center of the tire tread, good directional stability at high speeds and excellent vehicle handling are ensured. To reduce noise and vibrations during movement, the tire tread contains blocks and sectors of various sizes. The rubber compound of the tread includes environmentally friendly components such as silica, as well as other high-quality substances.
Summer tires Nexen CP661 are produced on the latest equipment with electronic quality control of the released products.
