Thanks to this original solution, the Taiwanese tire makers were able to address a number of issues, from directional stability and rolling resistance to resistance to uneven wear.

As for the central part of the tread, it is occupied by three longitudinal ribs, each representing a series of individual blocks. Their large number allows for a contact patch with a multitude of sharp edges, which significantly improves traction and grip. Additionally, the massive size of the blocks and the beveled edges should be noted. This has made it possible to ensure a more even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch, while reducing the level of noise generated by such a large number of tread elements. However, this is only an additional measure to combat noise.
