The all-season Nankang Ea603 model, presented by the Taiwanese manufacturer, is distinguished by its efficiency on both dry asphalt and winter roads. It provides reliability of coupling properties, protection against slaloming, hydroplaning, as well as improved braking performance on slippery roads. All this was achieved through the use of advanced modeling technologies and the application of a special compound with a package of additives.
The working surface of the tread is represented by an asymmetric non-directional structure, the basis of which is three ring elements. Each of them carries numerous lamellas and grooves, forming a multitude of catches. They fully manifest themselves on icy roads or sections with rolled snow. At the same time, a start without wheelspin and a reduced braking distance are ensured. The central "rib", made almost completely solid, provides good maneuverability and responsiveness of steering. And the shoulder areas with multiple elongated blocks contribute to easy passing of sections with loose snow.
The drainage system, consisting of four circumferential channels and a multitude of differently directed grooves, also plays an important role. The compound of the model is designed specifically for year-round operation, so it contains a number of additives that optimize elasticity at various temperature modes. This is reflected not only in the efficiency of braking and acceleration but also reduces abrasive wear, increasing the mileage period.
