The all-season Minerva Emi Zero 4S tire is installed on compact and medium-sized passenger cars. It differs from most similar tires from other brands with improved traction on winter surfaces. In motion, it is characterized by stable and predictable handling and high deceleration intensity on low-friction surfaces.
The tread pattern is made in a directional asymmetric design. A large part of the central zone of the pattern is occupied by a longitudinal row of paired blocks of a pointed shape towards the outside. The transverse edges formed by them, due to the inclination and curvature, have an increased length, which increases the traction force and deceleration intensity on snow, along with the accuracy of handling and directional stability. The shoulder blocks on the outside are rigidly connected to each other, which reduces the risk of skidding when maneuvering. On the opposite edge, the elements contain long curved and high edges, which improve longitudinal traction.
Key features:
- paired blocks in the central part increase the accuracy of handling and directional stability, ensuring effective implementation of traction and braking efficiency on snow;
- high transverse stiffness of the shoulder blocks on the outside prevents lateral skidding when maneuvering, providing transparent feedback on the steering wheel;
- wavy grooves and lamella-pumps enhance traction on wet surfaces and ice.
