Description Michelin XHA2
The Michelin XHA2 industrial tire is designed for use in graders, front-end loaders, and other wheeled special equipment used in construction, municipal services, and mining. It is characterized by its resistance to mechanical damage, high traction and adhesion properties on any type of soil, good fuel efficiency, and long service life.
The excellent ride of the tire in the most unfavorable operating conditions is due to several factors at once. One of them is the depth of the tread pattern, which is increased by 9% compared to the previous generation model. Another factor is the optimization of the tire's tread profile and its pattern. All these features increase the contact patch, reducing the pressure on the working surface and, along with it, the level of abrasive impact on the tread, thereby increasing its wear resistance. A special compound is used in its manufacture, which is characterized by increased resistance to abrasive wear and cracking, which also significantly increases the tire's mileage.
The sidewalls have a two-layer structure. The outer layer has increased elasticity and strength in terms of tearing and stretching, which saves the tire from minor damages. The inner part of the sidewalls is made of a less elastic compound, which prevents through damages - punctures and tears that occur with more significant mechanical impacts.
Key features of Michelin XHA2
- the depth of the tread cut increased by 9% compared to the previous model provides the tire with a longer service life;
- the optimized tread profile and its pattern increase the contact patch, improving the tire's wear resistance;
- the two-layer structure of the sidewalls minimizes the risk of damage to this part of the tire, providing it with excellent reliability in the most complex operating conditions.
