They are met thanks to the use of the most modern technologies and materials.
Refined handling and lightning-fast reactions to driver actions
One of such innovations applied in the design of this tire is the Dynamic Response technology. It represents a whole complex of technical solutions aimed at ensuring refined handling and ultra-fast reactions to steering wheel turns. In particular, the French tire makers applied a "hybrid" carcass, the multilayer structure of which is made from various materials - aramid and nylon fibers. They give the tire increased resistance to dynamic deformations.
In addition, the tread profile, as well as the design of its pattern, are designed in such a way that the size and shape of the contact patch do not change under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces. As a result, the stability of the coupling properties is ensured, which has a positive effect on handling - the behavior of the car becomes reliable and predictable.
Improved grip on a wet road
No less extensive complex of technical solutions was used to ensure maximum grip on a wet road. The tread rubber compound includes so-called "functional elastomers". Special polymer compounds provide the tread with increased tensile strength, which, in combination with an increased silica content, provides the tire with excellent grip on a cold, wet road. At the same time, wide longitudinal drainage grooves prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning even at high speeds.
