All-season tire Michelin LTX M/S Winter is installed on commercial vehicles of small capacity, pickups and SUVs. It differs from numerous similar products of other brands with improved traction properties on slippery winter surfaces.
A characteristic feature of the tread pattern design is the use of 3D lamellas. Narrow sinusoidal cuts form thousands of additional edges, thanks to which the tire allows for intense acceleration and deceleration on a surface with a very low coefficient of friction. At the same time, the "three-dimensional" profile of their vertical walls, limiting the mobility of the blocks, increases the directional stability and accuracy of control. The shoulder areas are enlarged, and their profile is made trapezoidal. This increases the resistance of the elements located there to deformation during maneuvering, which improves traction and reduces uneven wear, especially under significant weight load.
