Michelin LTX A/T2

Michelin LTX A/T2 – an all-season model installed on SUVs and crossovers. The tire provides stability of gripping characteristics throughout the year, a high level of comfort, and fuel economy.

The compound composition includes silica, natural rubber, resins, and oils. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve the adaptation of the rubber to various temperature regimes: in winter, it remains elastic, and in summer, it retains its density. In combination, this has improved the indicators of wear resistance, braking, and minimization of rolling resistance. The latter factor has positively affected fuel efficiency.

The central blocks of the directional symmetrical tread have a serrated shape, which promotes directional stability, sensitivity of handling, and increased traction on various road surfaces. The shape of the contact patch promotes even wear, and the applied technologies for channel arrangement reduce noise effects, making the ride more comfortable.

In the shoulder area, there are large blocks equipped with cross-shaped grooves. The latter improve lateral traction and also increase maneuverability.
The safety of the ride is also ensured by the aquadrainage system, represented by three longitudinal channels connected to smaller transverse ones. Such a system quickly expels contaminants, water, and snow from the contact zone, excluding slaloming and hydroplaning.
