Technology Maximum wear resistance and durability
Maximum wear resistance and durability
Functional elastomers in the rubber compound provide a higher level of grip on the road surface. A new rubber compound with stronger molecular bonds has been developed to improve wear resistance properties. The MICHELIN Ironflex* technology enhances the sidewall's resistance to impacts from external objects or potholes. High-strength carcass threads absorb peak loads, and the sidewall design significantly reduces the risk of "bulging" or complete tire destruction.
Technology Excellent water drainage
Excellent water drainage
The system of wide water drainage channels facilitates the rapid and efficient evacuation of water from the contact patch, substantially reducing the threshold for the onset of aquaplaning.
Technology Special tread design
Special tread design
The system of wide water drainage grooves facilitates the rapid and efficient evacuation of water from the contact patch, significantly reducing the aquaplaning threshold. The more the tread elements are deformed, the more the tire wears out. Variable lamellas of the central rib with variable depth are designed to enhance its stiffness while maintaining the ability to pick up water from the road surface.

The tyre is very well-balanced in its driving characteristics. It handles well on both dry and wet asphalt, and brakes without any tendency to understeer. I would compare them to my previous summer set of Bridgestone Turanza T001s, which are more suited to a more relaxed and comfortable drive, while the 'Michelins' are more stiff, robust, with faster characteristics and oversteer stability of 5+, aquaplaning behaviour is also excellent on both sets.

I've switched to this tire from Hankook Kinergy. One thing - only positive emotions. Comfort during driving is 6-7 out of 5. Noise during driving is also worthy of 6 scores. I really like this model. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to test the tires in rainy conditions yet. I'm driving on Michelin tires for the first time, and I'm glad I chose exactly these tires. After all, the company's history and experience convinced me,

I got myself a Focus 2, really like them. The balance is really nice in them. Quiet, very good handling. Already 14,000 km on them and I haven't had to add air once.
