All-season tire Michelin Agility Touring is suitable for most compact passenger cars. It is designed for operation in specific conditions of so-called "European winters". It is distinguished by improved traction properties on wet and snowy roads, braking efficiency, acoustic comfort and exceptional ride even on "rough" asphalt.
Stability on slippery surfaces
The tread pattern is literally dotted with numerous traction edges. The most extensive of them are formed by blocks and, due to their large area, allow effective realization of traction effort not only on wet, but also on snowy surfaces, providing a short braking distance in such conditions. The lamellas, having walls with a "three-dimensional" profile, allow maintaining reliable control on wet surfaces, not only creating a multitude of low, but sharp edges in the contact patch, but also directing water from under it to the nearest drainage grooves.
Special rubber compound
The tread part of the tire is made of a rubber compound, the characteristics of which were selected taking into account the need to use the tire in winter. It is distinguished by an increased content of silicon oxide. The colorless fine powder makes the tire elastic at negative temperatures, which improves its traction on wet and snowy surfaces. The compound includes a package of special polymers that increase tear and tensile strength. As a result, the tread is excellent against abrasive impact, which increases the tire's mileage to values that are not available to most similar products of other brands, including leading ones.
