Optimal design of the tread pattern
When developing this model, French tire manufacturers preferred to use a tread with a directional pattern. This choice is due not only to its increased efficiency on winter roads. This design, among other things, is characterized by low rolling resistance and uniform distribution of load on the contact patch. Thanks to this, the developers were able to solve several problems at once, ensuring fuel efficiency, wear resistance, and traction on slippery roads.
Increased number of lamellas
This model is characterized by increased traction on icy roads. It is provided due to several thousand gripping edges formed by the lamellas cut into all blocks.
