Michelin Agilis CrossClimate

All-season tire Michelin Agilis CrossClimate is installed on commercial vehicles of small capacity. It has excellent applicability due to its availability in more than 20 sizes with a diameter of 15 and 16 inches. It stands out favorably from most analogs of other brands, both in terms of excellent traction on any road surface for its category, and an increased service life of at least one-third.

Excellent Traction

For its category, the tire is distinguished by excellent traction properties, which are preserved on road surfaces with any characteristics. This is due to a number of features in the design of the tread pattern. It has a directed and symmetrical arrangement of blocks. In the central part, they have large sizes and a large inclination. The chess-like arrangement increases the area of the zone in contact with the road surface, providing it with numerous and very long traction edges. In the shoulder areas, the blocks have a trapezoidal shape in the side projection. This increases the tire's stability when maneuvering and also reduces the risk of damage when contacting curbs.

Compound from Cargo "Off-Road" Tires

The tread pattern of this model is made from the same rubber compound used in Force ZL tires for trucks and other special equipment operated in the construction and mining industries. It is distinguished by exceptional tear and tensile strength, as well as resistance to aggressive chemicals. This provides the tire with excellent reliability and a long service life in the most unfavorable operating conditions.

High-Precision Wear Indicators

The tread pattern is equipped with special indicators that allow for very accurate determination of the degree of tire wear. They are made in the form of "steps" applied to the shoulder areas. There are four of them, and each corresponds to a 25% reduction in tread height to 1.6 mm, the minimum permitted value in the EU. The location of the indicators in the shoulder areas makes it possible to level out the unevenness of tread wear by timely changing the installation location of the wheels. This significantly increases the service life of the tires.

Main Features of Michelin Agilis CrossClimate

- The tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of blocks is effective on any road surface, including dirt roads;
- Trapezoidal blocks in the side projection of the shoulder areas increase stability when maneuvering and reduce the risk of mechanical damage when contacting curbs;
- "Step" wear indicators in the shoulder areas allow not only to determine the need for replacement in a timely manner but also to increase the service life of the tire by changing its installation location.
