The Metzeler Racetec Interact K1 motorcycle tire is released in two versions - for the front and rear axles of motorcycles. This model is addressed to those owners of powerful sports bikes who regularly try their hand at racing tracks. I.e. this model is, in its essence, a civilian version of a racing tire. Since the tire is designed for operation in extreme modes, when creating it, the tire engineers of this German company applied a number of technologies aimed at ensuring uncompromising handling.
This is evidenced by the presence in the model range of several more models with the same name, but with different prefixes at the end. In this case, "K1" indicates that we have a tire designed for not very smooth asphalt and medium temperatures of its surface. In addition to this model, the manufacturer releases K0 and K2 tires, also designed for road surfaces with certain characteristics.
One of the main reasons for the exceptional effectiveness of this model is the patented 0° Steel Radial technology, which is a steel carcass with all threads wound longitudinally, i.e. parallel to the direction of movement. Compared to the textile cord traditionally used in motorcycle tires, its steel analogue has a significantly lower weight with very high strength indicators.

The next technology turned out to be so effective that it was reflected in the name of the tire. The Interact technology is a modular structure of the carcass, each part of which has certain elasticity indicators. I.e. the tread has high stiffness in those areas where it is necessary.
