Several types of such elements are used here. Wave-like slits are located parallel to the direction of movement and improve directional stability. Since these elements are located in the shoulder zones, their effect is preserved even when maneuvering. Straight lamellas are also located there, which strengthen the grip during longitudinal accelerations, forming numerous sharp edges.

Resistance to uneven wear

The long service life is largely due to the high resistance of the tread to uneven wear. This is ensured by the optimized design of the shoulder zones. Each of them contains massive blocks. They are connected by a wide longitudinal rib. Such a rigid support limits the mobility of the blocks, optimizing the distribution of external load on the contact patch, making it as uniform as possible. This significantly reduces the risk of uneven wear, even when operating the tire with overload.

Confident behavior on wet surfaces

The tire's tread provides extremely high resistance to aquaplaning. It is ensured by three longitudinal drainage grooves in the central part. These elements have a large internal volume, thanks to which almost any amount of water can be diverted from the contact patch at one time. At the same time, the wave-like shape of the drainage grooves reduces the risk of resonance noise and vibration, which has a positive effect on acoustic comfort.

Such a design, when maneuvering and cornering, increases the contact patch, providing stable traction. When accelerating longitudinally, the risk of wheel slipping is reduced, and the braking distance is shortened. In addition, the very rigid shoulder zones, providing fast and accurate transmission of acceleration forces to the steering wheel, make it easier to control the vehicle, especially at high speeds.
