Description Maxtrek Fortis T5
The Maxtrek Fortis T5 summer tire is installed on the most powerful versions of passenger cars. It is adapted for use in conditions of constant exposure to high loads that occur during prolonged driving at high speeds. It is distinguished by excellent directional stability, precision handling, and maneuverability, as well as a low tendency to aquaplaning.
The tread pattern is characterized by an asymmetric arrangement of elements, which are distributed over several functional areas. The inner side, containing a large number of water-discharging elements, provides resistance to aquaplaning, increases the intensity of acceleration and deceleration. The outer part of the tread improves traction and handling precision when maneuvering. Additionally, it is worth noting the increased width of the tire's tread and its optimized profile, which makes the contact patch even larger. This enhances the traction properties and their stability when changing direction.
Key features:
- The asymmetric tread pattern provides balanced driving qualities;
- A large number of transverse hydro-discharging grooves and their curved shape increase resistance to aquaplaning and longitudinal traction on wet pavement;
- An increased contact patch and its stability during transverse accelerations provide stability on dry pavement.
