Connoisseurs can easily determine the functional purpose of the Matador MPS-320 Maxilla tire. It is designed for operation on low-tonnage commercial equipment, which is confirmed by the MPS abbreviation in its name. As for its operational properties, it is distinguished by durability, a high level of comfort, and reliable traction in any conditions. This model is positioned by the Slovak manufacturer as all-season. However, this should be treated with some caution, since it was developed with regard to the climatic conditions of Central Europe.
"All-season" tread pattern
The possibility of using the Matador MPS-320 Maxilla model in winter conditions is largely ensured by a number of features in the design of its tread pattern. It is distinguished by an increased content of traction edges. They are formed not only by numerous blocks, but also by lamellas cut into them. At the same time, all transverse traction edges have a curved shape. This significantly improves the traction properties, especially on slippery wet and icy surfaces. In this regard, it is impossible not to note some physico-chemical properties of the tread compound. Due to the presence of special components in the composition, it remains elastic even at negative temperatures, which improves traction on snowy and icy surfaces.
Extended service life
The durability of this model is also ensured by the features of the tread design and the composition of the rubber compound. The shoulder zones are very rigid tread elements of a continuous design, which prevents the development of uneven wear. In turn, the rubber compound increases the resistance of the tread to abrasive wear, as well as to punctures and cuts.
Main features of Matador MPS-320 Maxilla
- the possibility of using throughout the year is ensured by a tread pattern with an increased content of traction edges and special components in the compound composition, thanks to which it remains elastic at low temperatures;
- an extended service life is ensured by a rigid construction of the shoulder zones, which prevents uneven wear, as well as increased resistance to abrasive wear, punctures and cuts of the rubber compound.
