The Marangoni 4 Winter passenger tire, due to a number of design features, is designed for operation in conditions of so-called "European" winters. In our country, such a climate is found only in the southern regions. In such conditions, this model demonstrates its strongest sides, of which it has a lot thanks to the use of advanced technologies and materials.

Wide longitudinal ribs

The tread pattern of this model is distinguished by an open design containing a large number of individual blocks. They are distinguished by massive sizes and a location, according to which four very wide longitudinal ribs are formed from them. Such a design, on the one hand, provides excellent directional stability, and on the other hand, reduces rolling resistance and optimizes the distribution of external load on the contact patch.

Excellent traction and grip characteristics

Another significant advantage of this design is that when contacting the road, all these numerous tread blocks form very long transverse edges of grip. This allows the tire to demonstrate excellent traction and grip properties in the longitudinal direction. Especially on snow, to which the significant distance between the blocks contributes in no small measure.

Zigzag drain grooves

The longitudinal drain grooves located in the shoulder areas of the tread pattern have a zigzag shape. It allows the tread to capture and retain much more snow, which additionally improves grip, giving it even more stability and reliability. In this regard, it is impossible not to mention the numerous lamellas cut into all tread blocks. They form many hundreds of grip edges, with which the tire clings to rolled snow and ice. At the same time, the wavy shape of their walls limits the transverse mobility of the blocks, which, in turn, improves directional stability and handling.
