The Marangoni 4 Winter E+ winter tire is designed for vehicles of various classes and is intended for operation in difficult road conditions. The model is characterized by its resistance to skidding, predictable handling at high speeds, and efficient self-cleaning of the tread.
Modern simulation methods (including computer-aided design) were used in the design process, which allowed optimizing the arrangement of tread blocks and ribs. The tread pattern is executed in a symmetrical directional style:
- the inner zone is equipped with a multitude of three-dimensional lamellas and blocks that enhance traction on snowy and icy surfaces, providing confident movement;
- the outer part is responsible for the stability of the vehicle during maneuvering and dynamic driving.
The developed system of grooves and several deep central channels effectively clean the contact area from snow, water, and mud, maintaining constant traction quality.
The tire is made from a special compound with the addition of elastomers and additives that preserve the flexibility of the rubber at negative temperatures down to -30°C. This guarantees the stability of working properties and durability even in harsh winter conditions.
